Top 15 Listens of 2010
The end of one year and beginning of the next is a time to look back and in this case, listen back. This post is dedicated to 15 releases that frequently accompanied me at work, at exercise, or while driving.
But first, some ground rules. This post is intentionally titled listens, rather than releases. A glass of beaujolais nouveau may be special, there is also that '06 Pinot, a 10 year old Port, and a Tawny that also satisfy. While this list is mostly 2010 releases there is also a sprinkling of newly discovered old releases as well as some favorites from the collection. The second ground rule is that it must have had at least 3 beginning to end plays in '10. Finally, I allow for one dud track on the release. After, all you need to experiment and sometimes it doesn't work. Two duds, however, often means a visit from the Delete key. I'm an FM, not an AM.
